As Pax-Bank for Church and Charity, we see ourselves as a Christian sustainable bank. In a time when ethical values and financial decisions often seem separate, we focus on connecting both aspects. Founded through the merger of two banks, both shaped by Christian values and the principle of solidarity, we are more than just a financial institution.

As Pax-Bank for Church and Charity, we see ourselves as a Christian sustainable bank. We balance our business activities in the tension between ecological sustainability, social balance, and economic profitability and bring them into harmony. We are aware that ecological sustainability is the basic prerequisite for all human life. We concretize sustainability based on the guiding principles of justice, peace, preservation of creation, and protection of the human person.

- We have a very competent 5-member sustainability team that coordinates and communicates all issues related to ethics and sustainability.
- We have an ethics advisory board that serves as an advisory body on all issues related to ethics and sustainability.
- In our investments and financing, we place great value on social, ethical, and ecological principles, which are firmly anchored in our investment and financing principles.
- The same high standards apply to our own actions. We take responsibility for people and the environment through the sustainability-oriented alignment of our own investments and our entire banking operations.
Customers
Our name "Pax-Bank for Church and Charity" reflects our long-standing experience in this field. Pax-BKC maintains customer relationships with institutional clients in every (arch)diocese in Germany. We want to use and further develop this experience. Based on our sustainable orientation, we are expanding our customer base in the institutional business. The name does not mean a limitation to customers from the church and charity sector.
On the contrary: We are open to all customers who share our Christian value orientation. Our bank sees itself as a partner and process companion for people and institutions willing to embark on the path to a more sustainable future.

As a Christian-sustainable bank, our goal is to provide comprehensive financial advice beyond Germany as well – tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of our clients. With the opening of our first international branch in Rome – the center of the Catholic Church – we are taking a deliberate step. In the Holy Land, too, we have been supporting Catholic institutions for years with customized financial solutions and personal service – in cooperation with established Church partners and through regular on-site presence.
